Comparing and contrasting two things.
Persuasive writing is trying to get someone else to agree with an idea or opinion of yours. A writer sometimes takes a position for or aganist an issue. Usually is used in advertisements to get the reader to buy a product. Or to try to get a reader to see a different point of view. Some examples of persuasive writing are:
Advertisements
Brochures
Comic Strips
Posters
Collage
Murals
Paintings
Skits
Storyboard
Newcasts
Wanted posters
Really didn't think about all the different examples we can use to teach both informative and persuasive writing. Thanks for expanding.
ReplyDeleteI like your examples for Persuasive writing.I would have never thought about some of these mediums. :)
ReplyDeleteI like the examples you gave. I never thought about a wanted poster as a type of presuasive writing, but it is! Persuading someone to help find a person.
